I must admit, I was never really a fan of turtle wax products and never really rated them. However, Turtle wax has now released a new product line called Hybrid Solutions, which seem to be taking the internet by storm. I have heard really positive things about these products and it seems like turtle wax are stepping their game up for 2020.

At the moment these are only available to the US market, but we should be getting our hands on them in Europe this month all going well.

You can expect some reviews on my blog when I get a hold of the products, but just to give you an idea of what to expect, here is a brief run-through of the new hybrid solutions product range.

Turtle Wax Ceramic Wash & Wax:

Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wash and Wax are chemically enhanced with superhydrophobic and SiO2 polymers to create a durable barrier for both coated and uncoated cars. These two chemical properties, SiO2 and hydrophobicity, uniquely blend to boost water beading. This is done by creating surface tension so that the products stay closer to the surface, bonding together so that nothing can impact the clear coat

Features

• Scratch-free cleaning that leaves behind shine and protection for months
• Super-hydrophobic & Si02 polymers create a durable barrier for both coated and uncoated cars
• Super concentrated formula that only requires 3 oz. to a gallon of water
• Can also be used in conjunction with a foam cannon for thick and long work time foam

How to Use Ceramic Wash & Wax:

STEP 1
Shake well. Add 2 to 3 fl. oz. to a bucket and top off with a gallon of water. Rinse exterior surfaces with a strong stream of water to remove loose soils and to cool the surface.

STEP 2
Wash vehicle from top to bottom using a microfiber wash mitt. Using the mitt, gently agitate the wash solution and apply to remove soil from exterior surfaces. Wash one panel at a time and rinse thoroughly with a fine spray of water to observe water beading.

STEP 3
Re-wash if necessary to maximize shine and water beading. Use a final flood of water to rinse and induce the sheeting effect. Towel dry as necessary.

 

Turtle Wax Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer:

The Hybrid Solutions Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer starts as a safe, waterless cleaner that intensifies shine. There are many different types of commanding polymers in this product, one of which is the hydro-glide waterless wash polymers, that not only clean your car without the use of water but also provide scratch-free cleaning.

Hybrid Solutions Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer uses synthetic wax polymers to increase the depth of color and shine

Features

• Safe, waterless cleaning that intensifies shine and adds ceramic wax protection
• Luxurious, silky feeling hydro-glide polymers trap dirt and grim
• Easy-to-use spray formula infused with hydrophobic and Si02 polymers can be used on all non-porous surfaces

 

How to Use Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer:

Features

PREPARATION
Wash & Dry Car. Shake well. Avoid Application on hot surfaces or in direct sunlight.

HAND APPLICATION
Apply 3-4 dime size drops to a foam applicator pad and spread the product evenly over a 2 ft. x 2 ft. section with light to moderate pressure in an overlapping, circular motion. Remove with a microfiber cloth, turning to a clean side for the final wipe. Use a damp microfiber cloth or a light mist of water to wipe the finish to activate the shine polymers. Re-wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Continue applying the product in the same manner over the entire car.

MACHINE APPLICATION
Apply 3-4 dime-sized drops evenly spaced onto the appropriate foam buffing pad. Use a treated pad to dab a 2 ft. x 2 ft. section, and slowly spread the product over the surface at a low setting. Turn machine to the desired setting and apply light to moderate pressure in a cross-hatch pattern – up and down motion first, then side to side. USE APPROPRIATE SPEED AND PAD FOR THE TYPE OF POLISHER BEING USED. Remove with a microfiber cloth. Use a damp microfiber cloth or a light mist of water to wipe the finish to activate the shine polymers. Re-wipe with a dry microfiber cloth.

 

Turtle Wax Ceramic Wet Wax:

Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wet Wax can be applied on a wet surface and delivers an increase of depth of color, gloss. This product was designed for accelerated drying without streaking, saving time and preventing water spots all at once

Features

• High shine, high gloss finish with a simple wipe and dry
• Super-hydrophobic and Si02 polymers deliver instant water-repelling and chemical resistance protection
• Less is more with this highly active and concentrated formula

One-step application, just spray onto a clean wet car and dry

 

How to Use Ceramic Wet Wax:

 

Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray Coating:

Turtle Wax’s Answer to Gyeon Wet Coat and Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Wax. I will be interested to see how this product performs compared to those.

• Super-hydrophobic and Si02 polymers deliver protection that lasts up to 12 months
• Water-repelling, water sheeting and chemical resistant protection keeps water spots and contaminants to a minimum in between washes
